FAQ

How is my jewelry made?

Each Gritluck Trading Co. piece of jewelry is hand-designed, carved and finished by Tyler Sample in his home studio in Pueblo, Colorado.

Every initial design is hand carved and whittled into wax my myself, a mold is then produced from the wax carving which is then cast in solid .925 sterling silver and finished by hand using various hand files and rotary tools to insure it lives up to the quality you will grow to expect from Gritluck.

How do I find out my ring size?

Please visit our Sizing Page for a detailed description.

Why is the ring I want not available in my size?

We have placed size restrictions on our items to maintain the integrity of our designs. If the size of the piece is increased or decreased past a certain threshold the design will become distorted.

Jewelry Care and Questions

Silver is a relatively soft metal please take care to look after your Gritluck pieces.  It will mare the metal if dropped or scratched.

Many Gritluck pieces are oxidized, we would not recommend using any liquid silver cleaning solutions to polish your items. This will strip off the dark tarnished areas and alter how your silver looks.

We recommend using a silver polishing cloth to bring your metal back to a high shine.
